One new species and new records of three species of the genus Forcipomyia Meigen, 1818 (Diptera, Ceratopogonidae) from West Bengal, India

چکیده

Forcipomyia (Forcipomyia) hispida, a new species from the Dooars region of West Bengal, is described and illustrated here based on morphological molecular data. Among three newly recorded species, (Dycea) hamoni de Meillon was known Eastern Himalayas while F. (Euprojoannisia) calamistrata Debenham & Wirth (E.) fuscimana (Kieffer) were Gangetic plains Bengal. The supplementary descriptions illustrations are also presented here. DNA barcoding two subgenus Euprojoannisia Brèthes obtained for first time.
